you get paid in Cocoa Beans.

dude, don't try to get a chocolate factory job. The oompa loompas work harder for less pay. They're being employed by most chocolate factories as there is no "minimum wage" for them.

Gidday mate :-) It's not my intention to disappoint you, I'm simply confronting you with reality: You are eligible for jobs here only if you can provide very sophisticated skills a Swiss or EU citizen doesn't have. Otherwise (and especially without fluency in either German, French or Italian), your chances are down to zero. It's just about the same if I would like to get a job in Australia without speaking English and without any special skills that are required for the Oz labour market. Still, to answer your original answer: Wages vary for a simple worker (from about 2'500 Sfr) to astronomically high salaries if employed as a leading manager (millions seem to become the rule for those these days).

The higher your education, the easier it is to get a job if you only speak english (universities, international companies). Other jobs are difficult to get without speaking a native language. It really depends on what your qualifications are.
