Will a Nintendo Wii I buy in Canada work in Switzerland

Will a Nintendo Wii I buy in Canada work in Switzerland?
I'm moving to Switzerland, but am thinking about buying a Wii in Canada and taking it there (electronics in Switzerland are way more expensive). Will a be able to use it normally without problems? If so, how? And if there would be problems, what kind of problems? Thank you so much!! =D

it should work! Just call the wii place and they will help you! Have fun in Switzerland! lol Good Luck

No, since North America's voltage is 120, as opposed to 220 in Europe.

It should work, but you will have to import games from US stores because European games work on a different system. Look up the difference between NTSC and PAL and you will understand that. You would also need a power adapter to make it work with the electrical system over there. Not really a big issue. Also if you go the route of buying a PS3 all games would work you bought, but the movies would be region coded to the region of the area you bought the system.

You wont be able to go and buy games there. Most likely not for your system anyway. If you really wanna get a wii, just get one there. That way if you go to a game store youll find games that will work. Also dont they have different plugs? Like in the usa are plugs are flat. But i heard some countries use round type plugs.
