Go to Zermatt such a cool village that you need to take a train to, well people that work there can drive in I think. You could find work there for sure. Gets quit busy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zermatt

Do you speak italian, french or German? If so then look in the different Cantons where that language is spoken. If you don't speak any of these languages, and Spanish is your native language, you might choose the Italian speaking region, since both spanish and italian are both Romance languages and somewhat similar, so you have a better chance of getting a job. Maybe try Zermatt. I know an Argentinian who worked in a restaurant in a resort in Wengen. I worked in Grindelwald which had a decent nightlife scene with all the foreign workers hanging out and partying together. The Swiss are also very serious about their skiing, and you would need good experience and credentials if you want to be a ski instructor or ski patrol, especially not speaking the language. Bar, hotel, and restaurant work is more realistic However you might be a little late in getting a job. Most of the resorts already opened or are opening this week. The busiest time is christmas-new years. Some places hire more people than needed to work over this time period, then fire the worst workers and just keep the best

Go to Andermatt: At the crossroads of the Alps, in the Urseren Valley, this picture-postcard town lies at the junction of two alpine roads -- the St. Gotthard highway and the road to Oberalp and Furka. From the top of Gemstock, reached by cable car, you can see 600 alpine peaks. Hikers, cross-country skiers, and mountain bikers are attracted to this little backwater. The life of the town is centered on the main street, some sections of which are still paved with granite stone. it is very nice there.

1. the season has already started. 2. what other languages do you speak? german, english, french, italian?? if no other language, forget it. 3. as you are argentinian, it is very unlikely that you will get a work permit. (sorry)

Will my Canadian wii work in Switzerland

Will my Canadian wii work in Switzerland?
I'm moving to Switzerland and I wanted to bring my Wii, I know they operate at 220 Volts and 50 Hz instead of 110 and 60, and I know it won't be a problem finding a converter for that, and I also know that games that I would buy over there will not work with my wii, but I wasn't sure about the video inputs in their TV's, will my yellow white and red cables still work over there?

I would suggest getting a power converter. you could probably get it at any canadian tire. my friend moved here from holland and he just bought a converter. :) happy to help.
2 :
it wont work unless you switch the wii internal memory to switzerland that from North America.

It will definitely work, but everything might be black&white. It really depends (on the TV I think / PAL/NTSC). For instance, I have an American Wii working in Poland (absolutely no problems, everything works perfectly), but I have a friend in Germany who had the black and white problem. Anyway, there is a way to solve this problem, but I didn't try it because my Wii just works flawlessly (and so can yours and I hope it will), so I don't guarantee this will work, but here's what you could buy: http://cgi.ebay.ca/TV-Video-System-NTSC-to-PAL-AV-Converter-Adapter-New_W0QQitemZ270349771988QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item270349771988&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 And if you would like to buy games in Switzerland and be able to play them, watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg-FTdrWM6Y or download Syndicate's Wii NTSC PAL Patcher Hope this helps Good luck

I would assume so, but just check with the company first, but you cannot become a citizen of Switzerland unless you have a visa.
2 :
Switzerland has a bilateral agreement with the EU which gives permission to those citizens to work there. "EU / EFTA nationals still require a residence permit and a work permit but have equal opportunities alongside Swiss jobseekers on the job market. Nationals of EU enlargement countries are subject to temporary provisions. Restrictive job market provisions and provisions concerning foreign nationals apply to third country nationals if they want to work in Switzerland. All foreign nationals already in gainful employment in Switzerland are subject to the same employment law provisions (work contracts, employee protection, etc.) as Swiss employees. For more information follow the link below and browse through the header on the left-hand side menu under the heading WORK. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Can, am and do! I was here already though (my husband is Swiss), it's less easy to find work if you aren't already resident in Switzerland. But as explained above, easier than if you're not EU.

How to make Indian mixie work in Switzerland

How to make Indian mixie work in Switzerland?
I have an indian mixie which has a three pin plug. I could not get a convertor so that it can be used in Swiss. So i cut the plug and tried to connect it via swiss 3 pin plug by connecting the wires. However the fuse went off :-( Actually there are 3 wires black, red and green. I connected black as neutral and other two as -ive and +ive. Do you know how to fix this? Am i connecting the wires properly?

use the black and red. the green should be ground and so, it would be in the middle. the other two really don't matter much, since it's AC power
